My nickname "Kat" is short for "Katherine", which has many different meanings in etymology but is most often described as meaning "pure, virginal". It's etymology also involves torture, royalty, and more. Click Here For More Info My middle name is Amy, which means "beloved". I am very feline in nature, and although a lot of girls like to be called "kitties", they usually are not nearly as similar to one as I am in my mannerisms. An interesting aspect regarding that subject is that I am both a Leo and a Tiger. I do not necessarily believe in astrology... However, I find it fascinating that the descriptions of these signs are so accurate to my personality. One example would be my "mane" of hair with I've received many comments on through my life. There are many other examples such as my pride, stubbornness, style of loving, talent, etc. I place very high value in being a substantial and high-quality person and living up to my potential. I enjoy being versatile, having many talents, and being an intelligent, strong, and respectable woman. Going against the grain makes things more interesting and I have no intention of being a mindless drone like many people are. I have the desire to learn to do as many things as I can in life to be able to say that I have accomplished many things and have not wasted my life. Sometimes I tend to seem like a walking contradiction or hypocrite because of my fetish-influenced style while being a feminist, as well as various other reasons. If you take the time to understand me, everything falls into place. I never lie because it just makes life harder and I loathe it. I've been abstinent from lying for so long that I have been put in positions where someone would tell me to lie and I just could not do it. I can be a conceited person, but not as much as some people assume I am; I simply know my flaws and I know my strengths. Sometimes I even annoy myself. I used to have a lot more self confidence than I do now. I love my appearance, but I know I need to lose weight for health and comfort. I don't think I should be a professional model or anything like that, nor would I like to be involved in such a disturbing profession. I do sometimes wish to be the most beautiful woman, as most women do. Society places so much importance on looks and it's challenging not to be insecure, especially with how unfaithful people can be for stupid reasons. Deep down, I know that attitude is wrong and unrealistic. I seem to be a bit lucky sometimes as I've won $10,000, a cell phone, and more. Granted, my life has also been filled with many unlucky situations. Anyway, I am very grateful for all that I have. As you can see in my stats, I've been to 267 concerts. I've also been in at least 2 music videos that I know of. I have a strong passion for musical talent and I have had many amazing experiences because of going to all of these shows and I am incredibly thankful for that. I have my own sense of style which some find impressive. I believe in having whatever style I want and enjoying anything I so-choose instead of feeling I need to stick to one stereotype/genre. I likely have some delusions of grandeur, but I do have a few very loving friends who can recognize the kat-esque difference. It's wonderful to be able to stand out in the world, but it can also be a pain. C' est la vie... I expect some people to hate me because that's a sad part of life and some people will never take the time to truly find out who I really am or why I am a certain way. Some people will never bother to figure out why they should be a good person either... I am a chronic nymphomaniac and I mean that in the most genuine sense. A lot of people claim to be a nympho but really have no idea what it's like. It's so much more than just physical urges and includes a lot of mental factors. It made growing up as a religious person very hard for me. It's a common misconception that nympho = slut, and that is not true. I've done some bad things which I wish I could take back, but all I ever wanted wasto be in a real, loving relationship, and I believe that sex is sacred and should not be taken lightly. It also annoys me when men say they are nymphos because the term is relating to females! The correct term would be satyriasis, and it's much more likely that he is just a regular horny man. Akito, Mitsuko, Skrinkle, Camielle, Boyd, Tweety, Callisto (not pictured), Itsuji (not pictured), & Penny (not pictured + given to parents)
Akito: He is our teddy bear, an orange tabby. We made sure to pick out a social male cat because we've had enough of skiddish female ones! He can be a usurper of the other cats' attention, but we're glad we picked him and we can actually enjoy him interacting with us. His name is Japanese and I've read that it means 'autumn person', which I suppose would be fitting because his color is like orange leaves in the autumn. I've also read that it can mean 'Crystal person' or 'Person who resents'... Whatever the case, we didn't pick his name for the meaning and we just liked it.
Mitsuko: Our arguably most insanely adorable kitty is Mitsuko. She is a Siamese and we saved her from the parking lot of our townhouse's complex. I shudder to think what could have became of such a perfect little creation if we hadn't taken her. She was a bit frightened at first, but Akito's friendly personality quickly adjusted her. Now she is somewhat friendly and plays with Akito in the most entertaining way!
Skrinkle: Dominic and I adopted Skrinkle from the humane society
shortly before moving into our (previous) apartment. We named her after Skrinkle from Party
Monster. She is a pixie-bob, so she has basically no tail and looks like a
mini bobcat with tabby stripes. She never lets us hold her, she'll spazz out
and run. She also has an annoying mew. She can be cuddly too though
when in bed.
Camielle: She was Boyd's (see below) biological sister, even though they look nothing
alike. She looks like a Siamese with the most beautiful blue eyes. She was
my little sister's cat at first but they pretty much disowned each other.
Camielle is like the exact opposite of Boyd usually. She is spazzy and
hides all the time. I get the joy of her split personality though, as she
comes and cuddles and licks like crazy when I lay in bed at night.
Boyd: He was the cat I got first of the six (formerly seven). He was black and white and
on the pudgy side. He was incredibly cuddly and social, and the most amazing cat I've ever known. I raised him since
he was just a kitten (got him when I was 15 1/2) and I'm proud of what he became. I loved him
probably as much as I love my man. He was always around for me to bury my face in when I was sad. He had a great reputation amongst my friends and even got a note from the singer he was named after, Brandon Boyd of Incubus, Sadly, my darling Boyd passed away from fatty liver disease on March 4, 2009. It broke my heart. :*( I miss his unique low 'Mer!' when I called his name... RIP Boyd, 2002-2009
Tweety: I actually own Tweety only because my fiance owned him
before meeting me. He got Tweety as a tip when he was a Chinese
delivery boy, haha. Tweety can be grumpy but also quite cuddly and
attention whorey. He's black and white like Boyd, but they have
differences, such as Tweety being thinner. We like to call him Twitler
because he has a white Hitler mustache, haha.
Callisto: She is our youngest kitty, a calico tabby. I found her when my friend and I went on a walk. We had just left my complex gate when a tiny kitten ran up to me! A super friendly girl kitten all by herself in the world, and healthy looking?! Not to mention I never had a calico before... I decided instantly to adopt her with that combination of reasons. My friend is a huge Xena fan, whom I watched the whole series with... I was a Callisto fan and previously used that name in usernames, a Neopets account, etc., so that is what I named her. She has since made a wonderful addition to our family, playing with Akito and Mitsuko and showing a unique personality!

I have never had anyone who shows me their love, respect, and need for me the way Dominic does. I have never been with anyone who pleases me and understands me the way he does. Dominic exceeds every man I've ever met in a way that I cannot describe. I have been with Dominic long enough to know that neither him nor I am truly perfect, as no one is. Sometimes we drive each other crazy and we fight. However, despite any hardships due to our imperfections and circumstances out of our control, I believe that he is the one for me and I want to be with him forever. We work hard to be our best and I look forward to us growing more and more beautiful together.
