Kat - Biography, Profile, Personal Site

Welcome to my (Kat's) profile website. I created the site for myself, my friends, and anyone else who may find it interesting for some reason. I use the site to keep track of things, remember my goals, and to be nostalgic. I also utilize it to share my photos, videos (in blogs), art, thoughts, interests, and to communicate with my friends. Through my blog, I express myself and the things that I consider important (as well as random praddle on occasion.. but I try to keep that minimal). One phrase that definitely applies to me is, "Don't judge a book by it's cover."

5/26/08 Happy 2 year and 3 month anniversary Dominic! Today I added 3 new photos to the "Kat with Bands" gallery in the "View All" and "National Bands" sections. I also added 5 new photos of myself to "My 'Modeling'" and 5 additional to "Dominic and Katherine". I also have recently published 2 new blogs about the Mindless Self Indulgence & The Birthday Massacre and The Dresden Dolls shows. I've been busy!!

Dominic and I just got our 5th child, an orange kitten of 12 weeks named Akito. I need to update my Bio page because of that. I still have yet to finish adding descriptions for my art in the "Kataklizmic Design" (ages 18+ only!) gallery... not to mention adding photos, making a real site for Kataklizmic Design, recreating MistressRavine.com, building upon GeishaKitten.com... Bllaaaahhh.

5/11/08 New photos added to "My 'Modeling'", "My Friends and I", and "Dominic and Katherine" photo galleries. I'm rarely finding time for updates and have yet to complete the Kataklizmic Design gallery... Not to mention make more art.

3/5/08 I believe I've edited up to about 35 art descriptions total now...

3/4/08 I reformatted the descriptions for the first 9 pieces in the Art gallery and intend to do the rest.

Feb? 2008 I came to realize that I could make the website far cooler and more flexible by not making it Flash-based. I redid everything with much better quality. Of course Flash is still used where needed...

I fulfilled one of my ambitions recently and taught myself how to setup databases online using PHP and MySql. I've integrated databases for various parts of the site, which will make it easier for me to update my lists quickly.
